The Academy of Humanities Publishing House was founded in 1994. Originally, it was meant to issue university textbooks and handbooks, but, over time, its offer has been expanded to include monographs and journals related to such areas of knowledge as history, education studies, Polish language and literature, management, psychology, political studies, environmental protection, and sociology.

By the end of the 2008 year the AH Publishing House has issued over 330 titles of books, journals, and serial publications. The Internet Bookshop associated with it has currently got ca. 160 of those on offer.
Some of the titles making up the publishing output of Pultusk Academy of Humanities have received prestigious awards: from “Polityka” (an all-Poland weekly), from “Edukacja XXI”, from the Minister of National Education and Sport, and from the “ATENA” 2005 University Book Fair Jury.
